In Ghana's Upper East Region, a long-standing school feeding program is being deepened by something harder to measure than a meal: understanding. Savanna Signatures, a Tamale-based development organization, has joined with the World Food Programme to weave nutrition education and behavioral change into the fabric of 44 schools across four districts, recognizing that food alone does not nourish a community if the meaning of nourishment remains unclear. The initiative reflects a quiet but consequential insight — that lasting change in how people eat begins with how people think.
