Zimbabwe launches $X million drought resilience program with China and UNICEF

Following an El Niño-induced drought that left 7.6 million people food insecure — the worst dry spell in four decades — Zimbabwe, China, and UNICEF have launched a two-year program in August 2026 to reach 212,000 of the most vulnerable people across eight districts.
