In Shenton Park, Perth, a family's decision to replace a failing cottage became something rarer than renovation — it became an act of civic imagination. Western Architecture Studio designed a modest home on 354 square meters not to impress, but to belong: to its street, its neighbors, and the rhythms of shared life. Where most houses in the neighborhood turn inward, this one opened its edges, and in doing so, quietly changed the edges of those around it.
